Sony DCR-TRV900 Camcorder -- Beginning to See the Light

Pros: Three-chip, close to broadcast quality.
Cons: No XLR mic inputs, key adustments via menus rather than physical dials, high price.
The Bottom Line: An expensive camera by consumer-level standards, but very high quality and packed with useful features. Another milestone on the road to widespread, affordable, broadcast-quality video movie production.

Review: The Sony TRV900 is the most affordable 3CCD DV camcorder in Sony's line. It does not have the supreme quality of it's older siblings such as the VX2000, however it is a solid 3CCD camcorder.
