Sony's ICD-P620 Recorder...

Pros: Lightweight, compact, excellent record quality, easy to use software, easy to use interface, price.
Cons: Not very attractive

Sony digital recorder met expectations

Pros: Directional MIC works well if sound conditions are good; Plenty of memory.
Cons: No PC-link. You must use manual buttons for playback and that isn't always easy.
The Bottom Line: This is a solid, inexpensive mono recorder, with tons of memory, but it lacks a PC-link. Recommended with conditions.
