Pros: Excellent bright image, nice feel and good weight

Cons: Slight red fringe on extremes of the field of view.

Review: Bought over the web the Olympus EXWP-1 binoculars having first carried out an extensive review and looking at a pair in the flesh.
Sadly I report that there is a strong red fringe around all objects from leafs to building edges to boat names...

The Best Bang-for-the-Buck 8x42 in Existence

Pros: Weight, build quality, center resolution.

Cons: Focusing dial's not identical in all climates & some chromatic aberration.

Cons: Focusing a bit too fast, causing harder accurate focusing.
