Pros: cheap
Cons: it doesn't work most of the time
The Bottom Line: Make sure that you test it right away and if it doesn't work take it back to the store. Don't wait months to test it like me :(

Pros: Inexpensive, easy-use, Map & 1.6M POIs on 1GB SDcard, sturdy, portable, also charges via USB
Cons: US Map only, upgrade support questionable, no text-to-speech
The Bottom Line: Excellent GPS for the price. Not top of the line, but an affordable and easy to use entry-level model. Seems sturdy and dependable. Hopefully map updates will be forthcoming.

Pros: Excellent price point. Rechargeable battery means it can be used on foot. Good touch responsiveness.
Cons: Some quirky menu options detract from what could be a more efficient tool.
The Bottom Line: If your miserliness is a year-round condition, you might opt for the NAV-u.
