Static-Free Digital Radio, No Monthly Fee

Pros: Opens up the world of HD radio at a modest price; excellent quality and features
Cons: Antenna provided with radio is not adequate for people who live in fringe signal areas
The Bottom Line: Static-free sound and a variety of new stations make HD radio worth the modest investment, and the Sangean HDR-1 is a great radio from a great company.

A good radio

Pros: All bands are very good
Cons: SSB is weak on the whip antenna for weak stations

Review: After 2 months I must say that I am satisfied with this machine. Sensitivity and selectivity  is good on all bands.  FM is very good. There is one weak  PBS station about 85 miles from me  and it comes in very well compared with all my other radio...
