EPSON STYLUS PHOTO R1900: Living large.

Pros: Smooth color transitions, excellent skin tones, Look-Up-Table, prints on art papers and CDs, roll feeder
Cons: Large footprint, cost of consumables (ink), small ink tanks, average B/W prints
The Bottom Line: A great large format color printer for a reasonable price (for serious enthusiasts and some professionals).

Used in a professional studio

Pros: True to life color.  Fast printing.
Cons: Ink tanks are too small. B&W prints ok.
The Bottom Line: Professional image results but expensive per page printing.

Review: I have been using an Epson R1900 printer in my professional photography studio for the last 10 months.  I have found that the unit performs as advertised. 

The colors are rich, deep, and accurate once you have your monitor correctly...
