Energy efficient for the environment, energy costly for the launderer

Pros: Energy efficient. Fits a small space nicely.
Cons: Demands more attention than top loading machines. White clothes turn gray.
The Bottom Line: Not for people unwilling to put in the extra time required to operate it.
