Bissell 9200 Carpet Cleaner Vacuum: a good carpet cleaner for the average household

Pros: Rollers work, easy to use, heats water, easy to clean.
Cons: suction and spray arn't as powerful as some canister units.
The Bottom Line: A great carpet cleaner that works well with pets and general cleaning.

Bissell ProHeat Steam Cleaner - great for lighter work

Pros: cleans well, heats the water, easy to use hand tool
Cons: Small tank, doesn't suck all the water out
The Bottom Line: This is a good cleaner for small jobs. But when it comes time for whole house spring cleaning, rent a Rug Doctor.

Pros: For the price, this Bissell is good for homes.
Cons: This model, but like all models in its price range, is heavy and loud.
The Bottom Line: For anything from a small house to a small business, this model is hard to beat.
