so far, so good
Pros:
quiet, clothes are clean

The Bottom Line:
It is a little pricey... I bought mine in tandem with dented dryer, so I got a pretty good deal.

Author's Review
I bought these machines in February (washer and dryer) and decided to wait a little while before I wrote a review. I didn't want to post a review while I was still in the honeymoon phase. So far, I like the washing machine a lot. There weren't many reviews on this machine when I was doing research, so I hope this helps someone out.
I was replacing a Kenmore top loader that was about 20 years old. I can only hope to get as many years out of this machine!! It is very quiet. When it is running, excluding the spin cycle, you can barely hear it. It sounds like it is raining outside. I live in a double wide, so my laundry area hides behind bi-fold louvered doors. Part of the reason I chose this machine was because of the lack of bells and whistles. It is pretty no-nonsense. The was I see it the less there is, the less that can go wrong.
My clothes are significantly cleaner than with the old top loader. My whites are much brighter than they were.
I am doing fewer loads of laundry than I used to because of the higher capacity. My only disappointment has been that my queen size quilt doesn't fit in there as I expected it would (I must admit, it is a thick, overstuffed quilt). You do need to use the HE laundry soap, which costs a little more. If you get the matching dryer, you will need to use liquid fabric softener. Dryer sheets will plug the lint filter in the dryer. Bosch also recommends that you wipe out the gasket after each wash. Not a big deal.
My only real gripe is that it tangles up the clothes pretty bad at times. Shirt sleeves and pant legs get twisted. If you don't take the time to untangle them before placing them in the dryer, they will dry the same way - which, makes for ironing! Sometimes I have this problem, and sometimes I don't. Not sure way...
