Cheap but good

This printer does a good job in printing, scanning/copying and faxing.

Unlike the other reviewer, I don't have any problem on paper feeding. B/W printing quality is good but color printing seems a bit dull. Printing speed is good but the printer wastes time on checking ink or feeding ink making the overall printing slow.

I am not a heavy user. I print around 2 pages per week. The inks left are only half for 8 months. Ink cartridges are available at ebay for about US$20 per set (4 packs). One thing need to be stressed is that the printer uses ink to clean the print head so the ink level will go down even the printer is not used for printing a page for a period of time.

The biggest problem I got with this printer is to set the configuration. This is done through the single line LCD screen. The configuration cannot be easily set unless you are reading the manual at the same time.

Another trouble I got was the connection with the answering machine. The printer allows you to attached an answering machine. But in order to receive a fax, you have to set up the answering machine so that the greeting message has to be blank in the first 5 seconds.
