The Bottom Line: Good if you can use the built-in illuminator and can deal with the overly bright viewfinder.

The Bottom Line: This is perfect for anyone looking for nightvsion. Maybe with the exception of someone needing 1X mag for head gear! Very high quality poece of kit! I loved it!
Review: I sell nightvision and for a while the biggest problem was ensuring the customer wasn't expecting to own what he saw in the last action movie he went to see.

Alternative to Light Intensification

The Bottom Line: NO IR lights are visible to the observed.
Review: I bought these, as 1st generation light intensification (LI) commonly available has many problems.
Succeeding generations of LI are incredibly expensive or not available to Canadians.

The Bottom Line: If you need serious night vision, avoid this. Great for kids and general use, but needs the illuminator to see if it's really dark
Review: Not a bad product for the scope, but the hype about being better than Gen2 really is exaggerated. Firstly, the resolution is about 400x300 pixels. Count em - it's not hard, just takes patience. That's like old Analogue TV - still very good, but...
