Product Review

Lovin' It

by   sarcilla ,   Jun 10, 2008

Pros:  Amazing picture, low price, super quiet

Cons:  A bit big/bulky

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars

Author's Review

20 foot throw distance, 120" diagonal motorized screen (cheap), Directv HD DVR HR20, XBox360, Playstation 3.

I haven't seen some of the upper end units. I used to have an Infocus X1 and loved it. This picture is so much better and even brighter than I would have expected considering all of the reviews I read. The unit is super silent - can barely tell it's on. Even before tuning with my Ovation DVD the picture was super nice. I hadn't planned on buying a 1080p projector, but at $1,600 after rebates I couldn't say no. The real beauty is that now I can have a regular DVD playing in the XBox360 and the same movie but in 1080p on the PS3 and switch between the two in order to show folks the difference.
