For the average Joe...

This computer is fantastic! Purchased is back in August, and has been great as my mobile computer. It is equipped with blu-ray disc, intel centrino, Full HD 1080, HDMI tv hookup, and also S-video hook up. Has an i S-400 jack, also  a memory stick and SD card slot. Other features are the DVD-RW disc drive, 3 USB ports and lastly 2 express card ports.

This laptop is just as fast, if not faster than my Duo Core CPU processor; the benefits of having it in laptop format is that you can be mobile with it.

If you are normally and XP user and are upgrading to Windows vista for the first time with this laptop, just remember, it takes time to learn a new program and Vista was my enemy at first. When the operating system finally made sense to me, it seemed to be easier to manuever than Windows XP.

The large size of the screen (17.4") made it difficult to find a fashionable toting bag for it at a reasonable price. I ended up getting a back pack large enough to fit it in and converted it into a laptop bag by adding a homemade padded section to it. (BAG WORKS GREAT! Is easily disguised and no one knows it's a laptop from the "targus" symbol. I converted an EMS backpack.)

The speakers are great, also it's equipped with a WEB CAMERA AND MICROPHONE!! There is a program on the computer that allows you to access these features without having to purchase any separate software.

Also, the easy access media buttons have really helped me while I'm watching movies from Netflix.

THIS LAPTOP HAS SAVED ME SO MUCH MONEY ON MOVIES! I used to have a Blockbuster membership @ $35 a month; now I have netflix for $10 and just hook it up to my television and it's ready to go for movie night.

This computer has so many functions I'm still trying to find them all :)
