iPod Shuffle 512MB... what does a $50 difference mean to you?

Date of Review:  Feb 4, 2005
The Bottom Line: If all you want is an easy music listening experience, it is more than up to the task.
Review: Before you go on and read this epinion, know that I wrote and own the 1GB iPod Shuffle and wrote an epinion on it already that you can read for a full and heavily detailed review of the iPod Shuffle. There is no differences in performance that I can...

No Shuffling Here: This Is My Favorite iPod of All Time

Date of Review:  Mar 1, 2005
The Bottom Line: If you don't like being weighted down by gadgets get shuffling. It's simple but powerful. The lack of screen does not detract from the usefulness of this player.
Review: UPDATE 9/8/05: Apple just released their new iPod nano player which is as Apple CEO Steve Jobs says, "impossibly small." It's literally the height of four credit cards thick, and no wider than a business card. Yes, it's functionally smaller than the...

I am really impressed by this gadget

Date of Review:  Feb 25, 2005
The Bottom Line: If you don't need a big storage iPod, this is the one. You may want both anyway!
Review: As an ardent Mac fan - computers that is - I watched the January Keynote Address by Steve Jobs as soon as I could get to download the two hour quicktime presentation. It took about 1 1/2 hours to get to the really new stuff and the iPod Shuffle was...

Good for the most part

Date of Review:  Dec 29, 2006
Review: I got this as a present for my wife, who wanted something to listen to while she worked out. I looked around and found this for forty dollars, better priced than a lot of other mp3 players which is why I broke down and bought an apple product. It...

Doesn't need a techie to operate this great player.

Date of Review:  Dec 5, 2005
The Bottom Line: I suggest that anyone serious about maximum portability and function consider this product.
Review: I bought this iPod for myself and ended up buying two more for my family members. I like the fact that there is not screen to have to deal with. The buttons are very intuitive and user friendly and you don't even have to read the instructions to get...

Best as an entry-level iPod or for iPod owners who need a second one

Date of Review:  Jun 6, 2006
The Bottom Line: The iPod Shuffle is an inexpensive, durable MP3 player the vast majority of people should enjoy.
Review: I'll be the first to say that I wasn't a big believer in the Shuffle when it was introduced. The lack of an LCD screen to tell a user what song they're listening to was a deal killer for me, and so I bought the rival 512MB Creative MuVo TX FM...

Poor Man's iPod

Date of Review:  Jan 24, 2005
The Bottom Line: If you need portability above all and just want music wherever you go, this is the player for you.
Review: In the portable music player market, few can compete with the legendary iPod. Since its debut in 2002, the ipod has enticed more than 4 million buyers with its size, capacity, simplicity, and style. When Apple introduced the iPod shuffle in January,...

Well worth the $99 - all I need and it works perfect

Date of Review:  Feb 21, 2005
The Bottom Line: Great for a user who wants their music readily available, at a price that can't be beat.
Review: How They Get You
I did not want to buy a "full size" iPod. I am a radio guy. Flipping through radio stations is how a commute is supposed to be done. My wife, she is the iPod person. Can't go anywhere without it. It should be surgically...

Your Own Radio Station!

Date of Review:  Jun 18, 2005
The Bottom Line: Get one so you can really fine tune what you listen too and create lists of only your favorites. Easy to use and carry.
Review: I already have a 15 GB iPod I love, but found myself sometimes relunctantly leaving it at home if I thought it was going to rain or if I just didn't feel like babying it.......what's interesting is I was already utilizing the "On The Go" playlist...

Great, sexy, minimalist player

Date of Review:  Mar 23, 2006
The Bottom Line: A sleek mix of design, portability, and spartan operation (not to mention great looks), makes this a great value and a cool toy.
Review: I understand that it is very popular to bash anything that Apple markets. It's a phenomenon not unlike Bose-bashing in the audio world.

That being said, allow to say that, no, the Shuffle was not my first choice. It was a Christmas gift...
