Great little heater, and decent ambiance too!

Just a great little heater. 
We have a 15x20 living room with a vaulted 14' ceiling, an  8' sliding glass door and a 3'x3' skylight, all which tend to suck the forced hot air heat right out of the room.   
With the insane rise in heating costs (we use oil heat as part of our forced hot air heating, and at $4/gallon we're in a position where we MUST find a way to cut back).

This little unit is fully electric, plugs into a standard outlet, has an adjustable thermostat on the back that will stopthe heat while allowing the pseudo-flames to continue flickering.
Within minutes, it heats up the entire 300 sq ft room (but high ceilings) and that heat spills into the kitchen, aldso 300 sq ft, which are the two main rooms we're in during the day.  The  forced hot air has yet to come on while it's running.
We don't know the full extent of the heater's pull on the electric, but they claim 8-12 cents per hour.  At the very least, it offsets the forced hot air blower that continually runs through the winter, while still providing the heat without the use of our oil.
It even has a remote control to flick it on as you walk into the room (my daughter even found out it's a RD remote instead of infrared and can turn it on from car as they're pulling in the driveway!)
Great product, especially if you're looking to conserve oil or natural gas.
