This 4 cd box set is a "must have" for the true Bob marley conisseure. It depicts his roots and his start in reggae and continues throughout his career with clarity. The accompanying booklet is filled with photos and prose to give us a better understanding of his life and how his experiences affected his music.
For the uninitiated ,this collection will allow you to develope your taste and enjoyment of Bob's music while the booklet will allow you to understand the man.
The only drawback that I found was the sound quality of the early years. As the years pass the quality improves and this can be detected on the cd's.
I think that this box set is truly a bargain. I paid $43.99 and have seen it advertised on TV for $60.00.
