Arrived Somewhat Broken

We received our Duet Sport 8500 washer and dryer on December 24th.

It arrived with a broken wash cycle selection dial (could have been the delivery drivers) and push buttons on the control panel were not flush (instead of a small round button, some were almost oval. NOT normal)

I can deal with possibility of dial broken while delivered, but not with the lack of quality control for the other buttons.

Whirlpool after sales dept offered to repair, but I bought and paid for new, not repaired new.

This Washer uses very little water, and knows automatically how much water to use. It also has a heater on the drum to keep the water hot.
The spin cycle is about 1000 RPM, so clothes spend less time in Dryer. Our clothes come out fluffier plus look and smell cleaner than with our previous top loader.

Dispensing drawer is handy for automatic delivery of bleach and softener so you can start the load and forget about it.

UPDATE DEC 31:

After many arguments with the store, and a no nonsense threat of returning the washer and canceling the order, we'll receive brand new exchange in 2 weeks.
