VWNBTDi -- YES!!!

Date of Review:  Sep 12, 2006
Review: I love my car -- and it happens to be an 03 Beetle TDi. About 44K miles and really is a pleasure to drive. My average mpg (both town and city) has been about 44 -- on the road, I usually get at least 50, if not more.

Diesel is much more...

Decent car, not so decent price.

Date of Review:  Mar 17, 2007
Review: From the moment I saw the first new VW Beetle, I was in love. So, I decided that I would try and have it be my first new car. From the time I test drove it, I knew I HAD to have it..and I wanted the green. (theres a technical name for it, sorry)...

Just pure FUN!

Date of Review:  Jul 5, 2007
Review: Do yourself the favor of enjoying driving again and get a bug! We bought a 2003 convertible with a 1.8l Turbo a month ago for my wife and we both love it. I drive her car as much as I can! The color is "sundown orange" and it's a real eye catcher...

Beetle TDI - A good car....or just an air polluting bug?

Date of Review:  Jun 10, 2003
The Bottom Line: If you are in the market for an economy car, I suggest checking around prior to making a decision on the TDI.
Review: Looking almost exactly like it did back in 1998, the Beetle TDI looks like it belongs on the shelves at your local Toys R Us store versus a car dealership. Looks can be deceiving though, the Volkswagen Beetle is hardly a cheap toy. Since the...

Fun and Reliable

Date of Review:  Nov 12, 2003
Review: The beetle was my first choice by far. I did look around a bit but could not find as much room inside and features (cruise control, heater side mirrors, tilt, fully adjustable seats) as the beetle has. The car rides smooth and will excel and get you...

I was glad to be rid of my 2003 Beetle

Date of Review:  Jun 19, 2007
The Bottom Line: This car was nothing but trouble and the problems were the sort that were very irritating and never seemed to be fixable.
Review: I leased a brand new 2003 Beetle 4 years ago. It was as cute as can be, bright yellow. I thought it was going to be a great car. Wrong. From the beginning, I had problems with the power windows. Especially on the driver's side. If you wanted it up,...

Zippy and Fun

Date of Review:  Mar 26, 2004
The Bottom Line: The best car I ever owned, I never leased the same car twice, my next car will be the VW Beetle GLS Turbo convertable.
Review: I purchased the 2003 VW Beetle GLS Turbo. Very simply I LOVE IT. There is so much to say about this GREAT little car. First off you must understand that by purchasing one you become part of a cult. As you can tell by the look of it, it's not your...

2003 New Beetle Cyber Green

Date of Review:  Mar 27, 2004
Review: My husband and I wanted a car with better gas mileage than my 96 Cobra, and we were originally looking at the Subaru WRX, the Hyundai Tiburon and the Mitsubishi Lancer OZ Rally edition. For the price, the VW was a better made car than the Mitsu &...

The New Beetle is for making memories

Date of Review:  Aug 10, 2003
The Bottom Line: Do it because you're making a statement. Built from the Golf chassis; fun to drive.
Review: First off, I'm 45 years old and made it thru my early career years driving Beetles I bought for $500. So when the New Beetle was announced in 1998, I was in line.

Mexico is not putting these together as well as a Toyota or Nissan, so...

Zippy and Fun!

Date of Review:  May 6, 2005
Review: I just purchased a 2003 VW Beetle with 28,000 miles on it and I love it! The only con that I can find with it is the cup holders are in an awkward place. They do slide to the right, but they are still a little difficult if you have a big cup of...
