A good tv for the price

I have had this tv for a few months now and overall I'm pretty happy with it. The picture is very bright and it really pops. No more having to close the curtains in the tv room on a sunny day! The picture is fairly sharp since it is LCD, but I would say it is probably average among the other budget LCDs I've seen. I had to turn down the colors from the default to get the picture quality a little more to my liking. Even then, the white's aren't quite as white as I would like. In hdtv with the hdmi, the picture is impressive for a budget lcd. SD picture quality is fair- images seem a little soft.

Feature wise, the menu screen is adequate. It could use a color temp function. Otherwise, its fine for my viewing (satellite tv and dvd). The remote is nothing special, just a basic remote. Fortunately, it was easy enough to "train" my other remotes to operate the tv. The inputs offer a variety of choices, including hdmi- which is rare for a unit in this price range.

The surround sound is fairly good, with its 20 watts of audio power it gets plenty loud in my living room.

Stylistically, the enclosure looks pretty nice compared to some other budget lcd's. You can get a wall mount at a fairly good price from vizio directly.
