Computer of all trades

I recieved this laptop as a gift upon my graduation.  So I did not initially know how much it cost.  As I used it I was surprised to find how fast and efficient it ran.  When I got on the web to see how much it actually cost I was stunned at the numbers I saw.  I was expecting it to be easy over a thousand dollars, but instead what I descovered was more in the range of $500-800.  It runs off windows Vista, which has now been fixed by the microsoft company so you have absolutely nothing to worry about with the programs.  With a decent sized RAM and ROM, this computer can handle any normal persons hobbies as well as information.  The Battery is supposed to last for 4 hours, which I find as a stretch, at best mine gets about 2 and a half hours, which still is not bad at all.

I had a technical problem with my screen about 5 months after I aquired this computer.  The cable which connected the screen to the actual computer had broken.  It ended up being a major pain to fix, but it was covered under the one year warranty, so I paid absolutely nothing out of pocket.
