Built to Spill, my new love
Date of Review: Jun 18, 2001
The Bottom Line: My recommendation is for those that love a nice sounding rock band that isnt heavy, nor too slow. If you want a great cd, then pick this one up.
I recently downloaded a built to spill song, after being recommended by a friend. The title was "car", and it absolutely blew me away. This song was a masterpiece of wonderful vocals and great instrumental pieces. I was absolutely captivated by the beauty of the song, so I decided to by the cd that it came on.
The cd was "There's nothing wrong with love". I can tell you right now, there is nothing wrong with this cd. Each and every song is different, each with its own feeling and meaning. I personally enjoy the tracks "car", "big dipper", and "twin falls". The cd was a great choice, and seeing that it is 6 years old, it only cost me about 12 dollars. No matter what the price that the cd would have cost, I would have picked it up and enjoyed it thouroughly.
I recommend "There's Nothing Wrong With Love" to anyone that enjoys indie rock, or bands like Weezer. This CD is one that will stay in my collection and rotation for a long long time.
