Sometimes I think I’m turning into Tony Soprano.

Tony Soprano is a middle-aged wiseguy with a normal family, going through some middle-aged life crisis. He’s got a job in the “waste management” business that’s been placing all kinds of stress on his Mafioso life. He had a few anxiety attacks so he sought out the therapy of a beautiful psychiatrist who has placed him on Prozac.

Me:I’m Middle aged wise a*s with many dysfunctional family members too. My anxiety attacks have been on a 24x7 schedule and I am looking for a therapist. My best friend lent me some of her Prozac.

Tony Soprano has a beautiful sprawling home in Northern New Jersey. He has a gorgeous pool that has a flock of ducks living in it and Tony is moved by the serenity of the birds in his pool. Tony is also a capo and if you mess up with him, he’ll send you a message like a .45 slug through your eyeball.

Me: I too have a home with a pool! The only thing floating in my pool is my pool cover. My 6 unanswered calls calls to Mr Pool Man has messed up my serenity. I’m gonna send Mr. Pool Man a message too: a couple of large chlorine tabs in his gas tank if he don’t get the cover out of my pool.

Tony Soprano is under tremendous pressure from his manipulating mother. Nothing Tony can do for her is appreciated. For her protection, Tony has placed his mother in a retirement community. This has caused some resentment between the two.

Me: I have a ……..I’m taking the Fifth.

Tony Soprano has a lot of job related stresses like collecting the “vig” from his customers. Sometimes Tony has to have a guy “whacked” because he couldn’t make his “shy”. Occasionally the Feds get wind of these unpleasantries and will offer one of Tony’s crew a permanent vacation in the Witness Protection Program. That’s where you get a new identity and you are whisked away to far way place where nobody knows you.

Me: I’m working on starting my own Witness Protection Program

Tony Soprano has to constantly watch his back. Sometimes people are following him. Some of them want to whack Tony. Some of these people are merely law enforcement types keeping him under surveillance. Tony’s beautiful wife thinks Tony is sharing his cannollies with someone other then her.

Me:What do you think about cannollies?

Watch the Soprano’s, its quality entertainment and he reminds myself of me.. Hey, do me a favor, eh? Like this epinion too, ok? Because I really like the Sopranos. Otherwise you and me we’re going out to to get some biscotti and you’re driving……
