This is scary stuff!

It scares me to death to see this movie. The CIA's training program is intense and disturbing. If this is really how we train these officers, WOW! Al Pacino plays a CIA trainer who is teaching at the FARM (a CIA Training Facility). Colin Farrell and Bridget Moynahan play two of the CIA recruits who continuously work to move closer to one another and to save themselves from each other.

The recruits soon lose reality- it is hard to tell what is real and what is not. They are all given different missions to determine whether or not they can become CIA agents. The trouble with the missions is that they play one person against the other as well as enable each person to believe that they have "caught " the other. This is a psychotic and disturbing film as reality is completely lost.

This movie is action and suspense packed- looking for ways to really pull you in. As you watch the training, you soon learn that these people have an instinctive way about them and that they can totally ruin your life- easily. If people really lived that way, the world would have tremendous problems. The ending sucked and could have had a little more creativity to it.

Pacino, Farrell, and Moynahan each play their roles with fascinating talent. Each of them is suspenseful, scary, and scared. They provide a storyline that keeps you on the edge of your seat until the end. This story has twists and turns throughout and nothing is as it seems. Be careful in choosing "the good guy." Is there one?

There is good action in this film that carries you away. There are a couple of slow parts, but keep watching- it is definitely worth it!


The DVD format contains a special section about the secret training of CIA Agents and the real fear surrounding it. I can't wait to see that!
