A must have album

I have to say that Dilated Peoples has been the best thing that has happened to rap since 2pac or the late great B.I.G. From their first performance with Rage Against the Machine in Oakland I was hooked.

Dropping tight beats and even tighter rhymes the destroy preconceptions about rap and bring it all back in the same verse. Riddles in every phrase keep you thinking.

After hearing them I rushed out to find their CD only to find they had only released a single, and it was only on vinyl. In my dismay I settled for a bootleg I made. But them as all hope was lost, I picked up thier album at their show at the Sims in San Franciso, and I consider it the best money I ever spent.

Not only do these tight MCs from LA appeal to the hardcore hip-hop crowd but also have grow the greatest cross over audience I have ever seen out of 2 MCs and a DJ. Over all these 3 artists draw off each other and give it back to the crowd. If you like Dilated people I would also suggest, anything by Tash Common or the ABB crew.
