The Bottom Line: This is a movie that is gruesome yet should be watched. Jesus teaching of love and forgiveness come through in the acting of James Caviezel.

The Most Difficult Film You Will Ever Watch

The Bottom Line: One of the most confronting films you will ever see; the death of Jesus is a horrific experience no matter what your attitude is towards religion; powerful and moving.
Review: Well it's now a late hour/early hour depending on which way you look at it. It's been about 10 hours since I walked out of the cinema, and some of the images thrust in my face are still embedded in my mind. And they probably will be for a while...

The Bottom Line: give this one a miss. Bloody gore and spiritual redemption don't mix, at least not artistically, not here.
