great rhythms, great instruments, music at its best

I stumbled on this cd at the library by chance, and I'm glad I did.

The Caribbean Jazz Project is music at its best, in my opinion. Many of the tracks are great old jazz standards that they have done in a caribbean style. If I could recall the exact songs they did on this album I would, but there are many that you will recognize.

Whether you're a jazz fan or not, you'll like this album because it makes you feel like you're on a caribbean cruise.

The percussion is to die for, and the instrumentation is amazing.

This album is great for summer listening. Breezy, cool, fresh, and very colorful.

I highly recommend this album. You find find caribbean jazz done any better than this.
