Rhyming is great for little ones!

very entertaining cat for bored children

The Bottom Line: THE CAT IN THE HAT is excellent for children because the plot is driven by a tension which is relevant to the lives of the reader.
Review: What I love about this book is the suspense. A boy and a girl are--well, not quite alone--there are pets--in their home; their mother is out for the day. And this cat shows up. He's pushy and basically rude, it's true. But I'm delighted by the way...
