The Bottom Line: Don't be afraid to buy an Olevia!
This 47" LCD TV offers one of the best HD values on the market. We ordered it online on a Saturday from Target, it was delivered the following Thursday. We took it out of the box, set it on a stand and plugged it in. The picture was gorgeous right out of the box. But it is a heavy critter - believe the product description - it really does way a little more than 140 pounds. There is a solid glass overlay that protects the screen.
We love that the speakers are on the bottom. We didn't want to wall-mount the display so we bought a stand that sits a little higher than most, left the speakers on the bottom and the tv is at the perfect viewing angle for our room.
The HD picture quality is just superb, the SD broadcasts are pretty good. There is no issue with watching fast moving sports so you don't really need to pay the premium for the 120hz technology, which is way more pricey.
This is our second Olevia HDTV and we are extremely satisfied. The price on this model was over $3000 in March 2007 and we paid approximately $1500 in early December. This TV is in a pricing sweet spot.
