Here we come Sydney!

The hype over this years Summer Olympic Games heats up as a brand new game appears on game dealers shelves. publisher Eidos just released the new title "Sydney 2000", named after the city and this years summer Olympic games.

As the title suggests for anyone familiar with Olympic games, the game is actually a collection of the competitions which will take place in Sydney Australia later this year. Eidos is including a dozen events with athlete models, high resolution graphics, and great multiple player options. The game also features 32 national teams, and a virtual gymnasium to train and build up a players stamina. Overall the simulation and competition works, but the whole idea of the game could get old after a while, especially after the real games are over this fall. A real Olympic buff could use this for a long time to come.

Sydney is appearing as a Dreamcast game, for the PC, PSX, and for the Game Boy color.
