I am Very Satisfied with my purchase of a 2004 Suzuki XL-7!!

In November of 2004 we bought a 2004 Suzuki XL-7 that was a base model. After about 3 months of research between all of the SUV models of all brands, we came to the XL-7 because of: price, interior room, engine size, gas mileage, standard options, and safety options. In my line of work (a Firefighter and Medic) my concern for the safety of my family was very prudent and a heavy part of my decision. I was given the chance to test drive the model we wanted for about a week. After that I was sure that this was the model for my family as this would replace the Ford Explorer that my wife was at that time driving. I immediately recognized the 32-40 miles per gallon. the dealer only quoted 28 miles per gallon. Also the options; the standard option of the radio controls on the steering wheel (means no having to take your hands off the steering wheel to change the radio station or lower the volume.) Also the automatic temperature control. Just set it to the desired temperature and let it go , the computer and internal temperature sensor keeps the temperature set. Fan comes on or blows more or blows less. and the Air Conditioner or heater comes on to maintain the selected temperature. The Automatic Transmission Power Switch gives you that extra transmission power for navigating light trails on a two wheel drive car.

Now 3 years later and with 55,000 miles all of the options still work like brand new. Also the gas mileage is still in the 32 mile range. I will surely be purchasing an XL-7 for a future car if I can ever wear this one out.
