OMG a new alien!! OMFG a stupid suit!!!
Pros:
Good music, sound, and gameplay, I like the RPG style.
Cons:
Running to sick-bay is annoying, A virus leak in a place is never good!
The Bottom Line:
This game will keep you playing it for like 75 hours max, so i really recommend you to buy this game. :3

Author's Review
Ok I'm a big fan of the Science Fiction stuff but sometimes is really hard for me to like a game so much, so im gonna explain the controllers and then some of the story line.
Controls: You move with the cross shaped arrows, A is for jumping and B is for shooting, R is for changing weaponery and L is for Theater(that means like a rope thingy that you will find later on), keep in mind that you can change the language and controls at your will, so if you feel like you can't understand the controls you can change them. In the sick-bay just stand in the middle of it and press A and it will reset the infection and it will save the game, also you can see profiles by standing in the ALERT icon and pressing A like Security Doors and files.
Graphics: Pretty decent, not really awesome but they nicely fit into the gaming, you can even see a little bit of detail in the enviroment but not alot of it. (Example: You can't see Jenosa's face at all, only her eyes).
Sound: Nothing new or incredible, it just it fits nicely into the enviroment. Boss music is facinating. The gun shot of your Gauntled is pretty good, also when a specific type of bullet hits an enemy, either it enchants him or does a fatal damage, it amazing and you can actually hear Jenosa grunting when you get hit or when you jump. Oh yeah i forgot, when you die the scream is pretty weak.
Gameplay: As I said, you shoot with B and you jump with A. As always you have a health bar in your upper-left. When you destroy an enemy they leave DNA in the air, when you grab it it replishes some of your health and gives you EXP so you can level up and become more powerful. When you find a Security Card, you can open Security Door that you need to go trough. Also when you find a new weapon it will be used to solve the rest of the level. You have 7 types of weapons, 1 is the standard projectile that it does a weak damage to all type of enemies. The EMP shot does fatal damage to electrical devices such as robots, but it enchantes energy type of enemies making them faster and stronger. The Dissipator shot neutralises the core of energy entetties, but it enchants biological enemies. The Fire shot burns up biological enemies, but enchants mechanical enemies. The Burst Cold shot freezes enemies for a while, perfect for preassure plates. The Adrenaline shot enchantes your momements and makes all around you look real slow. The Proton Bomb is used to open cracked walls and attack a group of enemies at the same time. Next upgrade is the Jump Bust that can make you do a 2 jump while in mid-air. Ok the Virus Gauge tells you how much has the Scurge infected your body. As time passes you become more infected, if it reaches 100%, you will start losing health until you die. The other downside is that when you're walking around you will see a little red goo all over the floor, if you stand on this, it will accelerate your virus gauge a lot faster so evade it at all costs. Next is the Illumination upgrade, you can tell what this does right away. Next is the Poison Resist, you know what this does also. Finally we have the Energy Cell that you gain from bosses, this will make your Guantled less heated when you shoot.
Storyline:
!!!!!!!!!!!!!ALERT SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok so you´re named Jenosa Arma. You're a bounty hunter (since when this is Metro id Prime?) and you're send to some stupid place to kill some new alien recently discovered and find what the heck happened in there, and suddenly your ship gets attacked while still in space and it gets destroyed.
Ok I liked that part of the story but it went downhill from there. Ok you use a suit to protect yourself from the Sc urge but the downside is that it only slows down the infection until to some point you start dying. Ok what the heck where the scientist thinking? A suit that only slows down the infection?, that is stupid.
Also when you read the profiles of some people you will see they talk alot about a transportation machine called Yggdrasil so you can pretty much tell that is your main objective, just to espace that place.
Let me tell you, Source (the semi-final boss) is trying to use this too, i think cause of havin gto spread trough the galaxy.
Ok later on you encounter a scientist that helps you.
Well after you encountered the Upgrades he tells you about, you can pretty much tell that you're ready to take on Source (Hooray for Upgrades!)
But before he sends you the coordinates, he gets attacked and captured by Source. Later on after you activated the Nexus Teleporting Thingy you need to take on 2 bosses, and when you confront Source in the Yggdrasil Teleporting Station (OMG im getting tired of saying Teleport!), he uses that scnientist body to talk. Wow creepy. And more creepy is that you found out that Source is making a clone out of Jenosa, (OMFG?, since when does Source starts making a Jenosa clone and the why is a mistery to me anyways). Moving on, after you defeat Source (which is pretty hard by the way), you fight with the Infection (aka the virus that is inside Jenosa) and you're inside her head. Wow that chick must have a empty head since is only pure white and there is no invisible wall so you end up walking for hours with no place to go.
In my words Sc urge:Hive is a pretty good game but it could had been better, believe me :D and if you want to talk to me my E-mail is mailto:tomasndrd@yahoo.com and i will reply to you if you want to :3.
