One of my favorite games for N64. This game was a good starter for N64. The graphics are done well. Bringing the classic Mario to a smooth 3d life. I like how this game stores straight onto the game, with no need of memory cards.
This games give's you free feel. Being able to go to different levels at different times, Not one set course. In this game you meet up with all the traditional baddies and goodies. The one thing is the plot's getting so old. Almost every Mario game is, Princess get's kidnapped by baddie (usually Bowser) and Mario the plumber comes to save her. The other thing that bug's me, where's Luigi?
The good thing about this game is how big the world is. How some worlds you go to, and can do so much. Then you go back after unlocking something and you can see a whole new half of the world. Mario's moves are cool, and the hat thing was cool, but they should of made more out of it, with like weapons (RPG bias). This was a great game on the N64, one of the few in my opinion. A must have for any N64 owner.
