This thing doesn't cool

I wish some more people had reviewed this thing. This thing cannot cool my 10x10 room. Also it is really loud. You could not sleep in the room where it is working. My 5000 btu window unit can make this room ice cold. This portable 10000 btu unit runs for hours and cannot get the temperature below 80. Bottom line it does not work
Tried to call customer support to return it or get a new one. I tell them it does not work in a 100 sq foot room and they tell me to turn the thermostat lower. Guess what still does not work.
Save your money but a much cheaper window unit. I just cannot believe there are not other reviews like this on the internet. I got ripped off.
