Step Up

After seeing commercial after commercial for the movie Step Up, I couldn’t have been more excited to go see it. Usually, movies disappoint me. I expect the movie to be better than it was, but Step Up was definitely an exception. I loved this movie because the music was great, the dancing was entertaining, and the actors were amazing.

The dancing in the movie was fantastic. I can’t even remember how many times I have watched the final dance scene. The choreography was fresh and fun. I wish that there could have been a little more dancing, though. Jenna Dewan is such a great dancer. I also enjoyed the music that accompanied the dancing.

What surprised me was the upbeat, modern music that was played throughout the movie. It was nice to have new music, which I hadn’t heard before, being played in a movie. My whole family enjoyed listening to the music, even my dad!

The main characters of the move, Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum, were great together. They are both amazing actors. The combination of the two made the movie so much fun to watch. I still find myself getting lost in the story, no matter how many times I have watched it.

I would recommend the movie, Step Up, to anyone. It is a great family movie. I bought the DVD and have watched it too many times to count.
