Over reaction

A couple of years ago Sports Afield switched, without warning, from being a hunting and fishing magazine, to being a sort of hip outdoors magazine. I think they were trying to be like Outside. It looks like they lost the readers they had, and gained few new ones. Whatever actually happened, the magazine recently switched back to primarily hunting and fishing.

I'm glad they switched back, but they appear to be over compensating. Most of the editorials now are about how society is against them (as hunters) and society wants to take away their guns. In recent articles they complain that actors that hunt are being black-balled by Hollywood, complain that there are not enough hunters, complain that there are too many people in public lands (can't have it both ways), and complain about how farmers manage their own lands.
I would prefer that the news and editorials be separate.

Maybe things will balance out, but it's not worth it to me to hang around long enough to find out.
