Author's Review
Where do I start, this game is different from anything I've ever played. Watching Ulala groove can be entertaining. However the game gets really hard real fast, keeping in step the moroliens is a task that needs to be learned through lots of practice. After a while you'll get the hang of it.
But what makes this game so good, is it the music? Is it style of gameplay? Is the graphics? Or just Ulala...It's all those things. Although I haven't mastered this one yet I will say from what I've played this is a great addition to anyone's dreamcast library (my dc library is now up to 16, with every game worth owning, except one expendable.)
Now I wasn't so sure about this game at first because the specs didn't look all that impressive (but than again none of the specs look good on anygame...why? I only wish I knew why they can't get a picture that captures the beauty of the dc's in game graphics) Anyway I figured with all that is surrounding it, and the fact that it was a official sega title I just knew that somehow it would be worth getting. And sure enough I was not let down.
So if you're looking for something fun, innovative and stylish for your DC get your hands on a copy of Space Channel 5. If you're dissapointed than that's your opinion. If you're sceptical about anything you can always rent it...so if you're thinking of just passing this off as some kids game, just rent it and give it a try, besides if it was a kids game how come it has a teen rating?
To conclude my review I'd just like to say that this is just another reason to own a dreamcast if you're one of those narrow minded gamers, than you're truely missing out.
