Dependable for me

Review: I had trouble with a number of DVD players failing and not playing discs. Had to return 3 other brands that were defective.
Bought this Sony and it has played flawlessly for me and my childs use also.

Why did I try Sony again?

The Bottom Line: Do not buy. Sony seems to be getting lazy and cheap with their product quality overall.
Review: I have had terrible luck with DVD-VCR combos. The Sony SLV-D350P that I have now was a new unit that we got in exchange for a different brand combo that we had DVD problems with in April 2005.

We had purchased a Best Buy warranty luckily...

Sony SLV-D350P VCR DVD combo with bad remote

The Bottom Line: With the poor remote and no copy capabilities, there's no real reason to pay the extra money for this Sony vs. other brands.

Hard to Program

The Bottom Line: This is okay if you want one a combo unit.
Review: I found the DVD/VRC easy to connect to my TV. It has a auto clock set feature that worked for me. This unit would work even on old TVs that only have a cable input.

It comes with a universal remote control but its control would not control...
