Great product, lousy service

Pros: Great features, picture quality, and ease of use. Good value.

Cons: Tape eject mechanism is super sensitive. Mine broke after one month.

Ease of use. Great features. Good picture quality. Good value. LCD menu is a little tough to see in bright light conditions. Requires I-link cable to burn dvds, a major oversight. Sony has only two service centers in the USA. Forget walking to your local store if you need to get it fixed under warranty, even if you live in New York City, the biggest market for electronics in the world. SONY,you can do better!
