Easy to love.

I don't want to kick dirt in a lot peoples eyes here but there is a trend to elevate DVD movies to a level that is beyond reproach. I enjoy the DVD experience to the extent that no rewinding is necessary and static is a thing of the past and the sound is generally better than what you'd expect BUT lets not get to righteous about the whole DVD phenomenon. This machine will not turn Encino Man into Citizen Kane.

With that said lets review it. For under 200 bucks you get a progressive scan DVD player that performs all the functions necessary to sit through multiple viewings of (in my households case) Charlotte's Web. You got your component outputs or standard three wire outputs along with S-video and optical cable outputs. There no matter what level anal retentive you are you'll be completely satisfied with the southern exposure of this player.

Believe it, it won't be long before one will be able to buy a DVD player in the checkout line at Krogers right next chicklets and The Enquirer.
