great video, lousy user interface

The Bottom Line: Buy it for the video and audio quality, don't expect much from the user interface. Five stars for the former, two stars for the latter.
Review: My DVD collection, though not extensive by some measures, was quickly getting out of hand and begged for some sort of organization. What better way than to store them all in one player? And the Sony DVP-CX777ES seemed like just the unit to do this...

The Bottom Line: Great unit you will be hard pressed to find something as that gives you as many options with dvd's,cd's or sacd's and the quality of this unit has.

Extremely Dissatisfied with the DVP-CX777ES

The Bottom Line: Do not buy this unit, Sony's customer support is extremely poor and both units we have had were defective.
