Microwave cooking. One of the greatest inventions of the modern age. How did our mothers cook without them? Every home and apartment should have one. We have this one.
Our old microwave was a very basic model. Cook or defrost and a dial to set the time, that's it. So when we decided that it just didn't meet our needs anymore we went shopping. The sales guy directed us to this one.
It has features. Tons and tons of features! If I listed them all you'd be reading all night. Here are a few highlights: It has a button for drinks, frozen entrees, frozen veggies, potatoes, popcorn, defrost, and each button has sub menu options. It sounds complicated but the display walks you through it and makes it very easy to get it right. Still unsure? Well don't worry. This microwave has a button just for you, it's called "sensor reheat".
This is the greatest, most useful addition to microwaves in a long time. Have a leftover plate of baked chicken, peas and rice and don't want to reheat everything separately? Put the plate in, press the sensor reheat button, and the microwave figures it all out for you. It even reheats pizza without turning the cheese runny and getting the crust soggy! What a great button!
Now, this is the bigger model with a larger table. It takes up a lot of counter space. Mine is the white one, and so far it has cleaned up very well. It's a bit loud, but not annoyingly so. The only thing I don't like is the button that opens the door, mine sticks. It may be a "feature" of this model or maybe I got the lucky one, I don't know.
