The Bottom Line: All in all I don't see how you can go wrong if all you want is a miniDV camcorder for general purpose movie taking.

EXCELENT MiniDV camera for the price.

The Bottom Line: Just can't beat the quality for the price. Short Battery life is weakest spot. Low light isn't great but that can be compensated for with camera features.
