The Bottom Line: I would reccomend this game to anyone, as it is fun, entertaining, and tests your singing capabilities!
I purchased the singstar 80's game for my daughter who is 13, and big mistake! (well, I mainly purchased it for me!) She had seen an ad for singstar pop in the newspaper for a fairly reasonable price. She loves it! It is a great game the whole family can play, with a wide range of recognizable songs, like vertigo, hit me baby one more time, and I write sins not tragedies. It also has a few old favorites, such as whitney Houstons "I wanna dance", and aha's "Take on me." Our family is big on games such as guitar hero, and rock band , because the whole family can play and have a really good time. We also find that singstar pop is great for parties, as it is not like normal kareoke games. It shows the full, original video with the lyrics and everything! So when you switch from normal kareoke games , to singstar, it will be a nice break from that boring box with cheap sounding music coming out of it! It features many game play, like pass the mic, solo, duet, battle, and free play. Another great thing is the sound FX. After you sing a song, you can replay it, and listen to what you sung. But thats not all! You can change your voice to sound like a robot, a chipmunk, and even a deep voiced man! Singstar is much fun, and I would reccomend it to anyone!
