We bought this dryer as a pair with the WF337 Washer
(my review). After some difficulty installing in a tight space with a misaligned dryer vent and a kinked hose (our problem, not the dryer's), we found the unit to be rather ordinary, especially when compared with the washing machine.
While far from being disappointed, we did find the machine to be just as noisy as our outgoing 9 year old Kenmore, and quite a bit noisier than the washer (if you can believe it!).
From a performance perspective, the machine is ridiculously easy to use. The control dial is split in two: the left hemisphere has the automatic settings and the right side the manual ones. You just select the cycle that corresponds to your wash and press start. Drying times are quite short, much shorter than the washer cycle, and the humidity sensor seems to be more accurate than what we experienced with other machines (this is our 4th dryer). Clothes come out wrinkle-free.
Another improvement is that there is virtually no dryer lint, even with a full load of towels. We are fairly sure this is the washer performance.
At any rate, this machine works well with the matching washer with its consistent controls and equivalent cycles.
There is really not much more to ask for in a dryer, other than it could be a tad quieter.
