For the princess in your life

My grandmother mailed this movie to my daughter when it was first released. My daughter is 3 years old and is a Disney princess fanatic. She loves all things Cinderella! She jumped up with joy when she saw the package in the mail.

We turned on the dvd. She immediately loved the dvd and it has remained one of her favorite movies. The plot is pretty predictable and definitely preschool oriented. I mean, it's not going to win any awards for the acting or storylines.

However, the music is good and catchy. The songs from the Sleeping Beauty cartoon are really well done. My 3 year old loves it, so they hit the target audience really well. There's not anything scary in the movie, which is important to most 3 year olds.

The first half of the movie is a cartoon about Sleeping Beauty. It's the first cartoon with Sleeping Beauty in it since the original movie. They did a great job with this movie. The 2nd cartoon is about Jasmine from the Aladdin movie. I think the movie is about an hour long total.

If you have a Disney princess fan in your family, this movie is a must.
