pokemon red is the best out of the 3!!

I've been playing my pokemon red game since I bought in 1998 and I was currently up to 354 hours and one Easter I dropped my gameboy pocket and red verison on concerate and guess what happend?? Pokemon red broke!! Well sort of my gameboy pocket was fine and not damamged but, my red version was still playable just not saveable. Thankfully my prized pokemon were on my N64.
Anyways you strat off as a boy named Ash or any name you give him and you have to battle pokemon trainers and defet your rival Gary or whoever you name him. Professor oak gives you a pokemon Bulbasaur, Squartal, or Charmander. People recommend getting Bulbasuer or Squertal since they're a lot easier in the begining than Charmander is and guess who I picked?? Charmander the best!!
Pokemon Red is not specificley made for gamboy color it's specificley made for the gameboy pocket or original so quit complaning you can only get one certin color on the gameboy color. If you want a different color than red press the control pad and A B buttons to unlock differnet colors but do it when it says Gameboy when you turn it on because otherwise it won't work try using differnt buttons to unlock different colors like green, purple, yellow, orange, etc.
Pokemon Red is mostly the same as blue version but, with different pokemon and since I chose red version first I like it's special exclusive pokemon better.
Pokemon red and blue have a bad virus in the game called missingno. or 'M and I will not tell you how encounter it because it can really mess up your game if you capture it and just seeing the glitch can screw up your hall of fame if you beat the pokemon league but, if you didn't missingno. or 'M is Ok as long as you don't capture it. It looks like a messed up pixel and has strange status it has two of the same attack!! Ok I captured missingno. and 'M many times but, it's really risky and if you want to risk it go ahead and capture one if you know how.
Missingno. and 'M also give you X99 of your sixth item and could elvolve into a kangaskon after a while.
Back to the game, you have to defet 8 gym leaders and obtain badges after that you beat the elite four and win the pokemon league. The game is over after that but, you'll still have to capture all 150 pokemon in order to get the diploma then the game is complete.
The sound is a bunh of NES music beeps but, its pretty good sounding especally how it changes all the time.
The grapics are very pixalized for especally compared to the newer versions.
I was one of the few that didn't get a stragey guide and let me tell you it's funner not having one because you don't know whats gonna happen next and considsaring I was 8 years old back then I think it was worth it.
In the end I'd get red version or blue version whichever you prefer there's nothing wrong with these games and are better than ruby and sapphire versions!!
