A sub par 3D game from the masters of 2D
Pros:
Fun to play
Cons:
Nothing groundbreaking, terrible graphics.
The Bottom Line:
Don't bother unless you have money to waste or get it for free. Pick up Soul Calibur and enjoy yoruself instead.

Capcom is no doubt one of the best 2D fighter makers out there, who doesn't recall playing Street Fighter 2 on their SNES or Genesis? It was awesome. However, in this case, this game is not awesome. Capcom decided to jump into the 3D pool with everyone else and ended up drowning. Compared to games like Soul Calibur and DoA2, Plasma Sword has the worse graphics EVER. I don't think there is one smooth polygon anywhere in this game. With most 3D fighting games, you get a ton of moves that you are able to perform, however Capcom fails to implement this as well. You are basically limited to the same attacks as one of the 2D fighting games, your punches , kicks, throws, and a few special moves you can do... nothing fancy like the cool grabs and special moves in Soul Calibur. Theres not much of a story to the game (although fighting games usually dont have much of one), and what there was of a story, I couldn't make sense of it. If you do in fact take the time to play all the way through the game and beat it, you will ultimately be dissapointed again by the bland endings, no movies, nothing cinematic at all.
You would think that after all this, I hardly played this game, but there is something about it that made it fun with 2 players. This is the only thing that gives this game any value at all, is being able to play it 2 players.
