Please don't over do it

The Bottom Line: Spend your money wisely. A designer name shouldn't imply quality or any other value, nor should price paid. When it comes to men's colognes be a little more critical.
I am sorry, but every time I smell Perry Ellis Reserve, my eyes water and burn.
A co-worker, a 19 something, tried to be impressive once by using what must have been half a bottle of this very cologne spray, in an attempt to woo the ladies, or what ever. He claimed that it was just a squirt in the restroom. The stench didn't leave the work area or the restroom for days and I smelled it on my clothes even after going home from work 5 hours later. My eyes actually watered and burned, not kidding. We had to nicely tell this kid that less is more with applying cologne and not to use so much next time. It didn't seem to be effective, since the next time he whined about how much he had paid for it at Wal-Mart and that it was a fancy designer name cologne and that it really smelled good to him. Not many gals or guys in the office were impressed. It made me and others sneeze and gasp. Sorry ladies and gentlemen, can't give this a good rating. Whenever I smell this cologne, I smell stench, no under notes or levels of various scent, just stench. Formaldehyde from a cadaver lab smells better to me. Perry Ellis dropped the ball on this one.
I have tried it, a department store tester bottle, but unfortunately will not ever try it again, nor ever buy it. This revue is based on my personal experience with the product.
