Not an overall bad movie

The Bottom Line: I would still recommend it. It is entertaining, will pull at your heart strings, and you might actually learn a bit of history while you're at it.
Review: Pearl Harbor was hyped to be the "Titanic" of 2001, the biggest summer blockbuster ever. It did not live up to its expectations. It received a lot of criticism, from that it was historically inaccurate, to that it concentrated too much on the love...

The Bottom Line: Wait for the video tape if you have wide-screen surround sound. If not see it at half price.
Review: When you don't expect much you're not disappointed. In Saving Private Ryan, you cared about the characters and it didn't take a love theme to keep you riveted to the story. Not the case here. Every contrivance is used to muddle the historical aspect...

A taste of history

The Bottom Line: I think everyone should see this movie because it is a great way to look at history and how horrible an event this was. It is not all death.

The Bottom Line: I wouldn't see this movie again and when I was in the theater, I wished that I wasn't watching it. I was thinking that I shoulda seen Shrek.
