great picture!

This is a great TV! I am very happy. It won best pic on Consumer Reports. When friends come over, they all want one. The only downside is all the technological know-how that you need to create the best picture (for ANY HDTV). If you are not willing to learn all the compexities then you will not get the best picture from any of these TVs. For instance, do you know the difference between composite and component video cables? If not, prepare for a whole new hobby. This is a great pick for the TV part of your entertainment center. The picture is amazing and I checked a lot of of TVs. I got mine at Costco. the only downside is the huge overwhelming stand...but if you are putting it on the wall....then no problem.
Remember with a plasma screen like this, the picture can burn in...some TVs have a built in fix for this.
